Meet our board of directors. 

Morten Thorkildsen

Chairman of the Board

Morten Thorkildsen holds a degree in management, finance, marketing and strategy from BI School of Management and Heriott-Watt University. He has an extensive background from the IT industry, with positions - among others - as Managing Director of IBM in Norway and as CEO of Rejlers Norge. He has held various board positions including EDB-Gruppen, Eg Utility Norge and the Norwegian Computer Association, and is now  Executive Chairman of Sykehuspartner. 

 

Mimi K. Berdal

Member of the Board

Mimi K. Berdal has a Master of Law degree. She has worked for the law firm of Arntzen de Besche (formerly Arntzen, Underland & Co) since 1988 and has been a partner since 1996. From 1988 to 1991 she was seconded as an in-house lawyer to the oil company Total. In late 2005, she left Arntzen de Besche to open an independent legal practice. She works primarily with company law, transactions and contracts, as well as petroleum law. She has held a number of positions in the Norwegian Bar Association and on various Boards of Directors.

 

Gyrid Ingerø

Member of the Board

Gyrid Ingerø holds a Master in Accounting and Auditing from NHH Norwegian School of Economics. She is today Group Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Kongsberg Gruppen. In addition to being a board member of Itera ASA, Ingerø holds board positions at Storebrand ASA, Flytoget AS and Sporveien AS. Ingerø’s board experience is long and varied, with different board positions from 2000. Ingerø has previously held the position as SVP & CFO for Digital Businesses in Telenor, and CFO in Opplysningen 1881 AS, Komplett ASA and Reiten & Co ASA. Prior to the CFO positions, Ingerø worked for 8 years in KPMG and a few years in Nordea.        

 

Jan-Erik Karlsson

Member of the Board

Jan-Erik Karlsson has a long and substantial background from the IT consultant business, as the co entrepreneur of the Swedish IT consultant company Programmator at the end of the 1970's. Here he held leading positions until the company was sold to Cap Gemini in 1992. After that he has had variuos managing positions in Cap Gemini's Nordic organization until 2010, where he spent 5 years as the leader of Cap Gemini Norway and 5 years as the leader of Cap Gemini Sweden.

 

Erik Berg Solheim

Employee Representative

Erik Berg Solheims education is from Norwegian School of Information Technology and UiO. He has worked at Itera since 2011. In that time he has worked in multiple technical departments before joining Iteras management consulting practice, where he holds the position of manager. Erik has mainly worked with some of Iteras largest clients in the banking and insurance industry, both on a strategic and operational level.

 

Charlotte Bech Blindheim

Employee Representative

Charlotte B.Blindheim has worked in Itera since October 2016. She has a bachelor degree in economy and IT management. She also takes a master degree in innovation and management that will be completed in 2020. She started working as a test manager in 2013 and since October 2017 she has also worked as a team leader. Her passion is people, management and technology.
